My name is Jonah Biddick, and I’m a filmmaker, veteran, adventurer, surfer, and seeker of truth through the lens.

I spent 25 years as an Air Force Special Warfare Pararescueman (PJ), which included 17x Combat Deployments and 13 years at the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), where I jumped into combat zones, disaster sites, and the unknown to solve the Nation’s hardest problems. In that time, I witnessed the rawest edges of the human experience and what I learned is this…….

After retiring from active duty, I earned my bachelor’s in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University…….not to escape my past, but to translate it. The discipline, clarity, and intensity I gained in the field now fuels how I shoot, direct, and edit; replacing my assault rifle with a camera and vision. I specialize in cinematic storytelling that blends adventure, authenticity, and purpose…….whether it’s hunting barrels in remote surf spots, documenting veteran resilience, capturing extreme adventures testing the limits of peak human performance or capturing brands that actually stand for something - "I've been there and done that!"

Produced and directed six portfolio films spanning commercial campaigns, narrative storytelling, and documentary formats—developing expertise in pre-production planning, cinematography, editing, and post-production workflows.

United States Air Force - Special Warfare Strategic Leader

1995 - Present

Supervised and led a diverse team of over 645 professionals within one of the Department of Defense’s most critical organizations, supporting high-priority national security initiatives.
Optimized operations, travel coordination, and resource utilization for $50M in assets and an $8M annual budget, improving efficiency and mission effectiveness.
Worked in direct partnership with the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and a senior four-star military commander to develop and implement mission strategies aligned with Presidential directives.
Directed personnel recovery operations for a 240-member joint task force, ensuring seamless coordination with senior defense and interagency leaders to protect and recover U.S. personnel in high-risk environments.
